Where the edges meet.

Synergy.

It wasn’t easy at first—
You needed quiet, I needed storms.
You folded your thoughts like paper;
I scattered mine like sparks.
Still, we stayed.
Not for ease,
but for something deeper.
Something worth the friction.

We misread each other in small, aching ways.
I spoke in feelings,
you answered in facts.
We fought like weather systems—
heat rising, pressure dropping—
until the sky finally broke.

Even the worst in us recognized something.
My pride met your distance.
Your fear touched my fear.
We laid down our sharpness,
not to soften,
but to be seen.

And in that strange, unspoken truce,
we found a rhythm.
A way to hold space
for both the grace and the grit.
You didn’t fix me.
I didn’t change you.
But the space between us—
that trembling space—
became a hinge,
a doorway,
a beginning.

Now, we move in tandem—
not perfect, but attuned.
Our love is a draft with fingerprints all over it,
edited in moonlight and coffee spoons,
in apologies,
in laughter that breaks the quiet like birdsong.

Synergy isn’t just in how we shine,
but in how we stay
when the light flickers.
It’s in letting our darkest parts
come forward
and finding—somehow—
they are met with gentleness.

And when it’s real,
you don’t just fall in love—
you build something
that makes both of you more
than you ever were alone.
