Time doesn’t heal wounds
to make you forget.
It doesn’t heal wounds to
erase the memories.
Time leaves you with a scar
to remind you of how you fought through it.
Time leaves you with a scar
to remind you of how you bled
and how you survived.
You survived.
An artifact from the fault line between collapse and continuation. This work was born during one of those chemically unsolvable weeks—when sleep was scarce, irritability bloomed like mold, and each task felt like an absurd demand from a world you no longer understood.
Through the fog of cortisol and apathy, your hands remembered the choreography: to make it through the day.
Until you find yourself forging a devotional out of brain static, heartbreak, and expired coping mechanisms.
Despite all odds, I’m still here, even though nothing about this should’ve worked. Even though the metrics for survival feel like they don’t apply anymore. This piece doesn’t celebrate strength. It celebrates the absurd miracle of persistence.
